Woodhall Manor
The venue in three words... cosy, warm and inviting.
Setting? Set in nine acres of stunning grounds with mature trees and a sweeping drive leading up to the entrance.
Interior? Original features and cosy rooms with modern comforts and open fires.
Exterior? Arrive through the iron gates carefully protected by a pair of stone eagles to see the beautiful Grade II* listed Elizabethan manor house, with leaded windows and beautiful ivy-clad red brick exterior.
The gardens? The manor has a walled garden with unique archways and a dovecote where ceremonies and drinks receptions take place. The fountain gardens and private lake make a perfect backdrop for photos and offer guests space to relax.
Tie the knot in… The Nelson Room is licensed for 36 people – ideal for intimate ‘I dos’. Next is the Bishops Room suitable for 50 ceremony guests, followed by the contemporary Ceremony Room where 100 of your nearest and dearest can witness your vows. Both The Ballroom and the Walled Garden are great spaces for larger gatherings of up to 130 people.
Celebrate in… The Ballroom can seat up to 130 guests for a wedding breakfast, once the meal is over all guests are able to move through to the purpose-built Long Bar for the evening party with up to 200 friends and family.
Licensed for ceremonies? Yes.
Accommodation? 14 luxury bedrooms and suites all themed and styled differently, some featuring a balcony overlooking the grounds.
We love… that couples are given a bespoke wedding journal to guide them through their planning stages, and are invited to a planning showcase event where they get to meet the venue’s recommended local suppliers.
