Marygreen Manor Hotel
Marygreen Manor Hotel is a fine example of early 16th-century architecture; featuring a large striking large stained-glass window, conservatory and 44 comfortable bedrooms – the venue boasts charm aplenty. Both the cosy, wood-panelled lounge with interesting original plastered ceiling, and the original Baronial Hall with a high ceiling and tapestries make great conversation starters among your attendees. The venue’s secluded garden boasts a pond and fountain, whereas the Italian garden leads to a rose arch, large oak tree and a small thatched-roofed outbuilding – ideal for capturing some cute couple shots.
Ceremonies take place in the Samuel Pepys Room in front of 60 loved ones, it can also be used as a space to host a wedding breakfast of 30 people. The Henry VIII Suite holds up to 103 of your nearest and dearest to watch you tie the knot or 85 friends and family for your big-day meal. Or alternatively, the Tudor Restaurant is ideal for a wedding breakfast of 106 people.
