Anthropologie announces charity partnership with Create

Anthropologie is delighted to announce its partnership with multi-award-winning charity, Create, which empowers lives, reduces isolation, and enhances wellbeing through creative arts. Create believes that everyone – regardless of circumstances, behaviour, age, gender, race or disability – should have access to the power of creativity. They work with young and adult carers, disabled children and adults, older people with dementia, prisoners, refugees, young people with mental illness, homeless adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Create runs free creative arts projects with people facing challenges in their lives. Working with their incredible roster of professional artists, children and adults are given the chance to express themselves, meet other people, have fun, and build skills through animation, dance, drama, music, painting, photography and a host of other artforms.

Anthropologie will launch the partnership by sponsoring three Christmas-themed projects throughout the festive period, focusing on visual arts. These will be with older people, adult carers and young carers.

Nicky Goulder, founding chief executive of Create says, "I'm so excited about this partnership with Anthropologie. At Create, we know that the creative arts can offer solace, inspiration and joy, which fits perfectly with Anthropologie's mission and values. Through this partnership, we will deliver a series of inspiring, high-quality creative arts workshops this Christmas, bringing sparkling joy to young carers, adult carers and vulnerable older people. This will ignite their imaginations, offer an escape, and connect them with others. I can't wait to see how this incredible partnership between our two organizations develops into 2023."

Matt Hilgeman, managing director international tells us, "Art and creativity are at the very core of the Anthropologie brand, so partnering and supporting a charity like Create really is the perfect fit for us. It's a huge privilege to be working with such a worthwhile charity and I look forward to our journey together over the next year."
