I really can’t believe the season of good will is upon us again. It hardly seems like a second ago that spring was here and the daffodils were beginning to bloom. But alas, winter brings its own beauty with fir trees, iced ponds, frost-kissed grass and the possibility of a snowy white wedding still making it a popular season in which to tie the knot.
In my opinion winter nuptials can bring a whole world of magic to your day, think about an al fresco hot drinks reception with hot chocolate, mulled wine, with cosy blankets and wraps to keep your loved ones warm. Plus, Christmas-inspired canapés like mini-Yorkshire puddings filled with roast beef and horseradish, polenta bites with red onion chutney, or if you have more of a sweet tooth a mini-Christmas pudding or stollen bites – delicious.
