The Old House is a beautiful, medieval venue located in the heart of historic Rochford. One of the oldest buildings in England, the Old House offers a truly unique setting for your special day.
Our magical Old Hall, which dates back to 1270, serves as our ceremony room and is a charming and unforgettable space, with its stunning altar inspired fireplace and hammer beam ceiling. Seating up to 24 guests, the Hall is perfect for intimate ceremonies.
Relax and get ready in our boutique wedding suite. Featuring two glamorous rooms, our suite has plenty of space for members of the wedding party to get ready in style.
You can also enjoy a celebratory tipple in our reception rooms, which are full of character, featuring exposed beams and lots of natural light, creating the perfect space to toast the happy couple on your new life together.
The Old House is surrounded by picturesque garden space for you and your guests to explore. From rustic brickwork to this beautiful and peaceful garden area, there are plenty of opportunities to capture photographs and memories of your special day.
A dedicated events co-ordinator will help plan your day and we are proud to offer exclusive use of the house and its garden for your ceremony.
