Three Rivers Golf and Country Club, Chelmsford

On the outer fringes of the village of Cold Norton, in Purleigh, Chelmsford, Essex this wedding venue is surrounded by 300 acres of stunning Essex countryside, providing a tranquil big-day location. Inside the contemporary building there's a covered welcome area followed by a large staircase leading up to the function suites. To the rear is a balcony offering far-reaching views. The lawn, opulent Wedding Gazebo and arched bridge provide memorable photo opportunities. Couples can choose from a range of modern suites, each boasting neutral decor, wooden floors and an abundance of natural light. There's also newly refurbished on-site accommodation, including the romantic white-themed bridal suite. Guests will love the full English breakfast in the morning.

Three Rivers is licensed for ceremonies in all of its function rooms, so can cater for all sizes of wedding. The largest space is the Rivers Suite (400 guests). Spacious and versatile, it can accommodate a grand stage and is perfect for a range of cultural ceremonies. The Lakes Suite (120 guests) has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the breathtaking grounds. Brides and grooms wishing to go al fresco will love the Wedding Lawn. Surrounded by countryside and a sparkling lake, it's an unforgettable spot to say "I do". The Kings Suite (350 guests) has everything needed for a wonderful reception, with a spacious bar at one end and patio doors leading outside to enjoy the grounds on a warm summer's evening.

We love... The venue holds monthly girls' nights called Lipstick, Powder and Paint, which includes a three-course meal, wine package and cheeky entertainment. Brides tying the knot at the venue get to attend for free!
