Langtons House, Hornchurch

Langtons House, Hornchurch Credit: Anesta Broad PhotographyLangtons House is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian building standing in picturesque landscaped gardens in Hornchurch, with an ornamental lake, orangery and bath house all dating from the 18th century making it an idyllic wedding venue. In 2016, it was restored and new features were added such as a Victorian-style greenhouse, pretty bridge, entrance pillars, cobbled stable yard and a tea room.

Let's celebrate!
There are four ceremony rooms available, all of which overlook the grounds. The East Room (50 guests) is exquisitely dressed to complement the striking decorative ceiling and crystal chandeliers. The West Room (50 guests) is decorated in a gold and off-white palette with a stunning fireplace and porcelain chandeliers. Launched in 2017, The Orangery (80 guests) is the outdoor option within the grounds of Langtons House. For larger celebrations, Langtons Hall (100 guests) is adjacent to the house and boasts opulent wood panelling and William Morris-style wallpaper. This is also the setting for receptions.

We love... Inside, visitors will find many original features. Although it has been redecorated many times over the years, it retains the look and feel of its period.
