Looking forward with Essex wedding florist Simply Stunning Flowers

We caught up with the lovely Victoria Makepeace of Simply Stunning Flowers to find out what it's been like running a florist during a pandemic.

"It was 25th March when I received my first phone call from a distraught bride," Victoria says. "She was the first of many that week and the months that followed. My initial reaction was panic, as this was a complete unknown, but we knew we needed to keep our couples reassured."

But how did they manage this new normal? "We closed our books for new enquiries so that postponements could take priority," Victoria explains. "I've also spent the last few months forging links with other florists and creating a network of local professionals so that we can help each other with the extra workload next year. We thought 2020 was going to be epic, but 2021 is set to be even better and I cannot wait!"
