Braintree Village has announced the upcoming arrival of three iconic British womenswear brands; Hobbs, Whistles, and Phase Eight. Set to open on 22nd May, the trio will be housed in a joint 2,366 sq ft store, located next to French Connection. The store’s opening marks a significant milestone for the Essex-based outlet shopping destination, offering guests three heritage womenswear brands at up to 60% off the RRP.

Synonymous with the best of British design, Hobbs' clothing is tailored to the multifaceted nature of the modern woman. Originally starting as a sought-after shoe label in London in 1981, the brand has evolved into a global name known for its celebrated footwear, feminine tailoring, and smart coats.
Whistles is set to bring a contemporary edge to the joint store, stocking its range of effortless silhouettes designed for independence and individuality. Renowned for its unique print and colour handwriting, the brand specialises in high-quality, timeless foundational pieces.
Completing the trio is Phase Eight, which has spent over 45 years designing luxury womenswear for all life's moments. From effortless outfits to show stopping event styles, their London-based studio combines hand-drawn prints with luxe fabrics to create unique collections for the modern woman.
To celebrate the opening, guests who spend over £150 will receive a gift with their purchase.*
Josef O'Sullivan, Centre Director at Braintree Village, commented "We are thrilled that Hobbs, Whistles, and Phase Eight will be joining our lineup of fashion brands this month.
"Bringing these three iconic brands together at Braintree Village significantly strengthens our womenswear offering, and we're sure our guests will love the new additions. With the store opening just in time for the summer, it is the perfect opportunity for our guests to stock up on stylish holiday essentials and occasion wear at outlet prices."
The trio's arrival follows Australian jewellery brand Lovisa's opening in April, and the reopening of both new White Stuff and Pavers stores. Next month, ProCook is set to reopen following a refurbishment.
