Organised by Julia and You Photography and Louise Perry Weddings, a classic and elegant venue was a must for this timeless styled shoot. Hatfield Place, the exquisite Georgian country house, was an obvious choice to fit the brief. The theme was inspired by the 'old school money' aesthetic. In today's society, when trends come and go, this shoot proved that understated luxury with a touch of nostalgia will never go out of fashion and provide picture perfect memories to last a lifetime.

The flowers were executed by Billericay florist | Little Tin Shed | award wining wedding florist Essex - The floral tones are so on trend - especially since Pantone has released their colour of the year - Mocha Mousse!

How stunning does Crondon Park look in the winter months? Crondon Park is an impressive wedding venue, located in the picturesque village of Stock. Weddings can take place in the fairylit ceremony room, with a seated capacity of 100 or outdoors, theatre style within the Baronial Garden. Crondon Park now offers their night before Lily room. To sleep up to eight people and with check in from 4pm the day before the wedding, it ensures the bridal parties have a relaxed start to their day and can start their bridal preparation as early as they require. There's also a luxurious bridal suite with private parking, courtyard with water feature and stunning countryside views, as well as five additional ensuite guest bedrooms.

Natalie and Tom originally had their eyes on a barn wedding. However, that changed as soon as they set eyes on St Osyth Priory. Natalie explains, “Our neighbour recommended we go and look at St Osyth Priory, as it was only 10 minutes down the road. We just couldn't get over how incredible it was when we got there. Such beautiful grounds, stunning buildings and Livi and Lizzie the coordinators were so welcoming and warm, we just couldn't resist! We cancelled the viewing for the barn venue and even though we'd only seen one setting, we knew this was the perfect one for us.”

There's so much I love from their day - but how amazing is this cake by https://clairescakesessex.co.uk
With plans of a proposal up a mountain on a Northern Lights tour, scuppered, Mike instead asked Helen to be his wife on a lazy Saturday morning having tea and toast in bed. It was a huge yes, of course. Mr and Mrs Hall tied the knot at Southminster Hall, followed by a party at their family home on 3rd August 2024. A magnificent laid back day with festival vibes.

Amy and Peter tied the knot at the stunning Georgian mansion, Gosfield Hall. I thought Amy's top tip was very interesting, and one I'd not heard before! She says, "Take close family to the venue prior to the venue so they know their way around and can help guide others."

Disney fans Daniel and George had the perfect day at Leez Priory – with a special pre-ceremony call from BBC Radio 2 host, Scott Mills.

The table décor matched the overall black and white aesthetic of the day with the theme for the Wedding Breakfast as 'BBC Radio 2'. The table plan board was tied into the idea of the 'Radio 2 Breakfast Show' with all the presenter names and guest locations detailed. The table names were all themed around BBC Radio 2 presenters including Claudia Winkleman, Zoe Ball, Rylan Clark, Sara Cox and so on. This theme was actually picked up upon by Radio 2 themselves and Daniel and George had 'pre-ceremony' vows live on air with Scott Mills! And more recently, they were invited live in the studio with Rylan and Scott to talk all about their day - eventually being dubbed 'THE Radio 2 Wedding'!

Make-up artist, Lynsey Fordham, put together this styled shoot at Apton Hall. The vision combined cool, crisp whites alongside mellow sage greens. The outcome is perfectly timeless with such a relaxed vibe. I love this image taken by John Payton Photography. The décor & venue styling by Elf Occasions was absolutely stunning. The simplicity of the flowing fabrics and wild foliage is perfect.
Emily Potts married Mark Pearl on 27th July 2024 at That Amazing Place. Emily says, "A memorable moment was later in the afternoon, post ceremony. We waited patiently in the wheat fields for the sunset to beam out. Our photographer & videographer told us he knew it would come in a few minutes and to wait. I'm so glad we did, the photos are incredible."
