Tucked away in Great Leighs in Essex, Leez Priory is an elegant, Tudor wedding venue brimming with historic charm. Nestled amid 40 acres of postcard-perfect parkland, it has been setting the scene for milestone occasions for decades. It is home to cottages, lakes, and barns, and you are welcome to celebrate every stage of your once-in-a-lifetime event at this exclusive-use wedding venue. Although not far from the hustle and bustle of London, this hidden gem bestows a peaceful atmosphere that you and your guests are bound to appreciate.

From intimate to large-scale affairs, this dedicated wedding venue can provide the backdrop for a range of dream weddings, including two-day events, elegant nuptials and showstopping celebrations.

You can exchange vows in one of eight locations, including at the Great Tower, an eye-catching space situated in the Courtyard, by the lake or in front of the house surrounded by the picturesque grounds. After, you’ll head into the Coach House Barn for dining or the Great Hall, a sophisticated room with ornate decor.  

Both the Great Hall and the Coach House Barn can be used for ceremonies, with the former offering a more traditional backdrop, while the latter boasts rustic charm.

For colder months, relax in our inviting bar and enjoy your favourite tipples or spread out into The Carriageway, drenched in the venue's rich history and adorned on either side with original 16th-century oak doors, framing the timeless charm.

Leez Priory boasts 25 bedrooms, all of which can be exclusively reserved for you and your guests, including a Honeymoon Suite, tucked away from the house.
