New Essex wedding venue alert! We love The Hare's Field

You can be one of the first couples to get married at The Hare's Field, a new bespoke wedding venue deep in the Essex countryside.

Set on Parsonage Farm on the outskirts of the pretty village of Wethersfield, the venue is owned by Mick and Fiona, who have been Wethersfield residents for more than 25 years. After being approached by a couple who wanted to tie the knot in this idyllic location, the idea was formed to restore the on-site barns as the perfect place for couples to celebrate their wedding. It's also recently received its license so vows can be taken here too.

Catering for parties of up to 60 people, Hare's Field is perfect for intimate gatherings surrounded by rolling countryside – they even welcome your four-legged friends! The five peaceful suites are great for the couple and their guests to unwind and allow the celebrations to spill into a second day.
