UK wedding catering trends 2023
Restaurant Associates reveals new data shows a definitive shift in style and substance at UK weddings post-Covid. Now...
Amanda Strickland, director of Essex bridal boutique and groomswear specialists Del Tailors, tells us about the exciting changes that have happened in the business this year...
"We moved into our new premises on Canvey Island in August last year and things were going great, orders were up and we welcomed a new member of staff to the team in February. We also decided to expand our bridal collections and are now stockists of Say Yes to the Dress star Randy Fenoli's own brand, as well as three collections from Phoenix Gowns – Danielle Couture, Phoenix and Envy. They are both great brands to stock and they have been very popular with our future brides. The new collection from Phoenix Gowns has just arrived in store and the second collection from Randy Fenoli will be with us in the new year. Very exciting times are ahead for brides-to-be!"
"There is so much choice now and it seems that the princess-style gowns are back on the scene. The gown pictured from Randy Fenoli is very versatile as it has a removable top skirt revealing a beautiful fitted gown beneath. We do love a bit of sparkle in Essex and I can guarantee that the new gowns do not disappoint!"
"No size is excluded from the stunning ranges available, which go up to a size 34. Whilst couples are a little hesitant at present to set dates in stone, they are still happy to browse and get ideas. There are last-minute bargains to be had in our end-of-line selection, but if you want the wedding gown of your dreams, then 12 to 14 months is a realistic time frame to order the one."
