Braintree Village unveils Christmas activities for 2025

The Giving Tree is situated near Cadbury and will be accepting gifts until 15th December. Guests can choose a tag from the tree detailing the person they'll buy for and head off to choose the perfect gift at one of Braintree Village's stores. Once purchased, gifts can be dropped off at Guest Services, opposite Ralph Lauren, where they will be wrapped and delivered in time for Christmas.

Several pop-up stores have joined the retail line-up for the festive season. Calendar Club is now open until the new year, stocking an array of 2026 calendars, diaries, and planners, as well as stationery and books. Yankee Candle has also opened opposite Adidas, offering a selection of scented candles, diffusers, and wax melts, perfect for gifting.

Personalised Christmas Decorations is also now open, alongside Chocolate Kisses and Candy Cabin which stock festive sweet treats. For those wanting to grab a warming bite to eat, the Chilli & Cheese, and Yorkshire Pudding Wrap huts are both open and are located outside Guess. Finally, for a thrilling festive activity, guests can try the Candy Cane Bungees which are located outside the North Entrance. To help guests complete their Christmas shopping, Braintree Village will also have a gift-wrapping station in partnership with First Stop Centre, located in the PLUS+ Lounge between 8th - 24th December. Guests will be able to have their gifts wrapped free of charge when they spend £100 in any of the outlet's stores, or in return for a minimum £3 donation to charity.

What's more, Braintree Village's ice rink is now open until 4th January including Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages, the ice rink is running a range of sessions to suit everyone's needs. Braintree Village has now revealed that ice-skaters will be able to access exclusive discounts at six of its brands when valid tickets are presented*.

The announcement of The Giving Tree's return, alongside Braintree Village's festive pop-ups, follows the recent launch of NASA-certified mattress brand Tempur at the outlet shopping destination. The 1,500 sq ft unit located next to The Works, offers a range of premium mattresses, bed frames, pillows, and accessories at outlet prices .

To allow plenty of time for guests to shop for gifts ahead of the big day, Braintree Village will have extended opening hours from 10am-8pm on weekdays, and 9am-8pm on Saturdays, until 23rd December. On Christmas Eve, guests will be able to shop from 10am-5pm and from 10am-6pm on Boxing Day. Braintree Village will be closed on Christmas Day.
