Viewing Gosfield Hall, was love at first sight. Lindsey tells us, “As we drove down the drive, I was in tears. When we got there, they told us they'd had a cancellation for three month's time. We decided to go for it and paid a deposit there and then. It just felt right."

Organised by Carla Lynch of Dress Code Nine, she teamed up with photographer Dale Zimmermann and Braintree Town Hall to show just how beautiful the sometimes-overlooked establishment in Market Square with its chiming clock and Braintree coat of arms. The gowns looked sensational against the wood pannelled walls and stained-glass windows.

Becki and Dan's picture perfect wedding took place on a frosty, cool winter's day at Gosfield Hall. The couple wanted a traditional English manor wedding and Gosfield Hall ticked that box, being a former royal palace. “We loved that it was steeped in history and all of the rooms were stunning – the bridal suite is genuinely jaw dropping, and the ballroom (where we had the wedding breakfast) and Queen's Gallery (where we had the ceremony) were stunning rooms that felt extremely grand and regal.” Becki explains.

A traditional Tudor building set beside the picturesque River Stour in the heart of Constable country. This stylish marquee is perfect for a party and sits in immaculately manicured gardens. It's all about food at the Talbooth, so a complimentary tasting for our bride and groom just has to be done. The location really stands out... green, immaculately landscaped gardens, the meandering River Stour, it doesn't get more picture perfect for a wedding photograph.

The Copper Cacti specialises in florals using mainly succulents for couples looking for something quirky and unusual for their big days. Shoot organiser Chloe says, “I wanted to create a shoot where it was fun and funky, something that isn't seen in bridal magazines that often and could give brides and grooms ideas of maybe something different that they hadn't considered before! Luckily, I have met on the 'circuit' some other amazing Essex-based suppliers who, like me, enjoy doing something different, so it was easy to message everyone to get them involved in this really fun shoot.”
