New Essex wedding venue alert! Check out East Mersea Hall

Bride in a white dress and a bridesmaid in black dress walk through the woods

The gorgeous Grade II listed East Mersea Hall has recently relaunched as a wedding venue after it was purchased at the end of 2019. The property is nestled in stunning grounds with its own tranquil lake on the idyllic Mersea Island just five minutes from the beach.

The Pavilion (180 guests) is located in the grounds for wedding breakfasts, and there's also the Secret Garden (250 guests), which is a secluded spot for al fresco weddings with a festival vibe. The venue has a ceremony licence and there's also a pretty church in the grounds.

Couples will be looked after by a wedding manager, who'll help take care of the whole planning process and make sure everything runs smoothly on the day. The venue takes pride in its flexibility and works with brides and grooms to let them have their wedding their way.
