Raising money for GOSH
Inspired by an amazing little boy, Isaac, who has spent some time between Broomfield Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital...
You want your wedding to reflect you as a couple, but how do you personalise your wedding venue? We asked Angie Roberts of Essex wedding venue That Amazing Place in Old Harlow...
When you start planning your day, always remember that you're not getting married to impress a room full of people. It is a celebration of the love that you and your partner share; the most important thing is that if reflects the two of you.
With this in mind, the first thing to do is to find a venue that suits you both. For example, if you're a modern couple looking for something less traditional, don't waste your time looking at old-fashioned settings. Instead, find somewhere that's a blank canvas waiting to be transformed to showcase your tastes. Venues with light, bright interiors and simple yet elegant spaces are great for adding your own stamp.
Make a list of things that are important to you and chat these through with the venue coordinator so that they can understand your needs, and most importantly, ensure they can fulfil them. Some venues are more flexible than others, so find somewhere that will support your vision and help you create it.
