Summer festival season!
Al Festo music and beer festival will be held at The Sun Inn, Dedham on the Essex/Suffolk border on 15th to 17th July. The annual festival is set to be a special one this year as it marks 20 years of The Sun Inn, under its current ownership by Piers Baker.
The free festival mixes the best of Americana, Folk & Alternative music with craft beer and great food in beautiful surroundings with wonderful people.
The two-day line up is one of the best yet, featuring some wonderful bands from across the UK: on Saturday there will be six acts including Norton Money, Flint Moore, while Sunday is more chilled out affair including Cable Collective an African-influenced guitars and beats with soulful female vocals - fresh from performing at Glastonbury!
There will be 20 real ales, cider and craft lager along with delicious festival food and lots of garden games. For non-beer drinkers, there will be a Prosecco & Gin Bar serving an array of gin including Essex's own Reliquum Gin from Great Oakley. There are garden games for kids: giant Jenga, Boules, Quoits, Horse Shoe Pitching and Skittles.
A specially created festival menu will be available throughout the day. Visitors can eat from the pub's main and bar menu in the pub or on the terrace.
