Francine Lewis takes a staycation at Greenwoods

Perfectly timed to catch the fabulous festive decorations that are always a show-stopper, Francine came with her daughter Brooke to indulge in the pool, jacuzzi and relax rooms in the award-winning spa as well as try one of the high tech facials in the Aesthetics Clinic that also offers a range of anti-ageing injections, the Revolax filler and vitamin B injections.

Francine is playing the role of bad witch Grimalkin in the Beauty & The Beast pantomime in Harpenden this year, a part she relishes: 'I started in pantomime a few years ago and was always chosen to play the princess roles including Snow White and Sleeping Beauty but I've found it' s far more fun playing the baddie. I don't event mind the hissing and booing!' As well as the spa treatments, Francine and Brooke dined in Ellis's restaurant all dressed up for Christmas then took advantage of the gym for a festive workout before leaving. Francine says ' It was so nice to take a short spa break during such a hectic time for me. It's great to spend time with Brooke too, she's a hair stylist and also manic this time of year. Charlie who heads up the team in the Aesthetics Clinic was so knowledgeable and my collagen boosting Greenwoods Delux Facial was heavenly, I'm still glowing. What' more the hotel looked like something from a Christmas movie, I can't wait to return!'
