Pop + Bark is back

Set to get tails wagging, the paws are back in town as the UK's most talked about dog event lands back in the heart of the Essex countryside at luxury property Down Hall Hotel, Spa & Estate on Sunday 15th September – this time welcoming charming corgis and energetic cocker spaniels for the very first time, as well as cute dachshunds.

Situated just 45 minutes from central London, near Hatfield Heath and set within 110-acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, the large outdoor event welcomes three different breeds at dedicated time slots, along with their human besties, to enjoy a whole host of activities to guarantee a totally paw-some day!

Corgi: 11am – 1pm
Cocker Spaniel: 1:15pm – 3:15pm
Dachshund: 3:30pm – 5:45pm

Furry friends can tuck into treats from the exclusive Pupuccino Bar, with fully stocked toppings including fresh fruit, peanut butter sprinkles and dog-friendly choccy drops. Grab your pup snacks from The Doggy Bakery, and choose from pupcakes, doughnuts and cookies, or cool down with a choice of iced desserts from the dedicated dog ice cream van. Humans can opt to grab a bite from three delicious food stations, including BBQ smashed beef patties, a mighty seafood or chicken Spanish paella or authentic Italian stone-baked pizzas, curated by the hotel's Executive Chef Robert Pearce. Take a seat on the hotel's impressive, sun-soaked terrace, whilst sipping on creative cocktails from the horsebox bar or find a patch on the picture-perfect manicured lawns in the hotel's newly renovated formal gardens.

Strike a pose for the puparazzi who will capture the day, share your snaps on social media and explore the idyllic surroundings of the 19th century Italianate mansion. With plenty dedicated off lead areas, let your four-legged friends let their fur down in the various play zones filled with toys, ball splash pool, bubble party and other games. There will also be face painting, treasure hunts and Down Hall's ice cream cart in partnership with Saffron Waldon Ice Cream Company to keep the children entertained. The event welcomes corgis, cocker spaniels and dachshunds at allocated time slots, only these breeds will be permitted to enter the festival. Dog lovers attending without their own furry friend are welcome too. Tickets start from £14.75 for adults and £9.75 for children aged 16 or under – food and drink will be charged separately.
