Down Hall Unveils New Family Staycation Experience

Available from 24th May to 31st August, the staycation experience is designed to appeal to families seeking both relaxation and child-friendly adventure.

Families can discover the joy of a traditional picnic amidst the peaceful surroundings of Down Hall's stunning gardens with a generous spread of sandwiches in adorable teddy bear shapes alongside an array of savoury treats, salads and sweet delights. Every child will also receive a special Teddy Tastic bear-making kit – choosing between a dinosaur, teddy bear or bunny – complete with stuffing, a wishing heart, a recordable sound box, bespoke birth certificate, custom outfit of their choice for their bear and a drawstring bag to keep them safe.

The newly renovated Estate Family Rooms are thoughtfully designed with children and parents in mind. Complete with built-in bunk beds, family board games, a Nintendo Switch plus robes and slippers for all, the new Estate Family Rooms provide the perfect home-away-from home where lasting memories can be made.

Throughout their stay, families are also encouraged to explore the hotel's expansive grounds and on-site family activities, including giant chess, croquet, tennis, padel and football goals as well as a children's playground and games room.
