For dinner, enjoy seasonal British plates from Executive Chef Robert Pearce in the two AA Rosette restaurant, The Garden Room. With a spotlight on ingredients sourced directly from the hotel's kitchen garden, sample highlights include glazed Roscoff onion tart; pan fried salmon fillet; truffled confit potato; and a 10oz 36-day aged ribeye. Standout desserts range from a spiced apple mousse with gingerbread meringue to a dark chocolate torte with sea salt caramel caviar.
After breakfast the next day, linger a little longer with a romantic stroll through the estate's woodland paths or elevate your stay further with a couples luxury spa treatment at the Eden Spa or the recently opened Barn Spa.
For a daytime tryst, the hotel will also be offering its Valentine's Afternoon Tea from Saturday 7th February – Sunday 15th February. Priced from £47.50 per person, the menu features an assortment of elegant finger sandwiches and teas, alongside sweet treats such as mascarpone tiramisu tartlets and a sour cherry and white chocolate choux. Add a glass of English sparkling wine for £11.90 or opt for a glass of Champagne for £16.
