Set to get tails wagging, the UK’s most talked about dog event is returning to Down Hall Hotel, Spa & Estate on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May for a spring paw-ty like no other. Teaming up with leading canine events company, Pop + Bark, this is the largest outdoor breed-specific dog celebration of its kind. The event welcomes four-legged friends for a feel-good day in the Essex countryside, just 45 minutes from central London, with a jam-packed schedule of activities designed to delight dogs and owners alike.

Specific time slots are in place throughout the day:
Golden Retriever: 11am – 1.30pm
Cockapoo: 2pm – 4.30pm
Set within 110 acres of picturesque grounds, dogs can roam and explore the estate's woodland trail, before enjoying some off-lead fun in this year's expanded play zone, complete with toys, bubbles and a giant ball pit.
Professional puparazzi will be on hand to capture the day's golden moments, with all images available to download after the event and included in the ticket price. For a special keepsake, the much-loved doggy painter will also be back on site to offer bespoke illustrations of each pup to take home.
After all the excitement, furry friends can refuel with bespoke snacks from Brucie's Bakes' mobile Doggy Bakery, including a tempting selection of all-natural pupcakes, biscuits and treats. The ever-popular Pupuccino Bar also returns, offering a range of toppings from fresh fruit and peanut butter sprinkles to dog-friendly choccy drops and gravy bones.
Humans are equally well catered for, with food options including beef burgers fresh off the BBQ and authentic Italian stone-baked pizzas curated by the hotel's Executive Chef Robert Pearce. Guests can relax on the hotel's sun-soaked terrace to sip on creative cocktails from the Horsebox Bar or cool down with a visit to the ice cream cart for a sweet frozen treat. There will also be a dedicated shopping area with handpicked local stalls, ranging from accessories from Arf & Win and Bruno's Bows to gourmet tasters and nutrition expertise from Year's Dog Food. Little visitors are also in for a treat, with a brand-new children's corner featuring giant Jenga, space hoppers, games and activity sheets.
The event welcomes Golden Retriever and Cockapoo breeds at allocated time slots, with entry limited to these breeds only. Dog lovers attending without their own furry friend are welcome too. Tickets start from £15.75 for adults and £13.75 for children aged 6-16, while tickets for dogs and infants aged 6 and under are free. All food and drink will be charged separately.
Free parking is available to all guests, while those wishing to stay and play for a while longer can book a newly refurbished dog-friendly room directly with the hotel, with discounted rates starting from £295 (based on bed and breakfast for two people sharing, dogs stay free)*.
